Our company publishes a select number of books each year, particularly those that deal with issues in society, and with history. And we also offer the following program for professionals who wish to publish a book and sell it to a direct market.

It is a special program for professionals who want to own and make full profit from their books, but they also want their book made available to the entire book industry through a well established publisher that sets it up for orders from all over the country, whether from a distributor, wholesaler, an independent book store, a chain, a library, or an online book seller. We act as publisher of record and market your book as your publisher.

Working with the author, we develop strategy for a particular book. We evaluate the market to determine who the reader will be, what that reader is already buying, and what he looks for when he searches for this type book. Together with the author, we shape the book accordingly beginning with title, sub-title, front book cover, back cover with targeted selling information, front matter of the book, design of interior pages and supplementary information. During all this "crafting" of the book, we are developing a marketing angle for the target audience.

Internet marketing is critical today. We feature the book on our web site so that a potential buyer can have a similar experience to actually holding the book in his hands and flipping through it. This is called "selling information."

We create special files on your book for the Search Engines to capture as they regularly scout our web site. If it is a topic people are looking for, the Search Engine can pick it up and list it. Whether they do or not is directly related to the way the book is detailed on our site and the embedded code words. It is called strategy and this strategy is based on knowing what Search Engines look for, what is happening in the world today, who is looking for what, and the words and phrases they use to search. Our books that deal with specific topics — and are featured on our web site — are also found on Search Engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN.

Internet book sales now represent one of every three sales. People from all over the world can see the book and easily order. It is critical to post targeted selling information on the Web.

United Kingdom distribution, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa are also available for applicable soft cover books.

We coach authors on how to set up a business entity for their book where author expenses often can be written off other income on which the author is paying tax. In this way, tax dollars the author would have paid on their other income can help finance the book.

We focus on non-fiction and occasional fact-based fiction that can be marketed to a target group. Our committee accepts only those books it feels has an audience. They provide a candid evaluation to the author in advance.

You will find that we candidly discuss with you the potential of your book, based on our fourteen years of experience. We want authors to have a positive publishing journey. Writing a book is the beginning. For it to find a place in the book-reading world, business and marketing principles must then be employed.

Authors must realize that no publisher can guarantee book sales, not their own or anyone else's. The topic of the book, how it is written, and how an author markets to the general public are the key factors in sales. Or a book can be put "out there" in book industry databases and Internet bookselling sites to see if it finds an audience.

If you would like your book to be considered for this program, please call us for a discussion. We do not open e-mail file attachments that we have not requested because of the virus problems. And please do not send a manuscript unless we have talked first.

We are happy to answer your questions.
